Launched in 2022 to mark five decades of Royal Oak, the 26240ST features a 41 mm stainless steel case, glare-proofed sapphire crystal front and back, and the brand’s signature octagonal bezel with exposed hexagonal screws—hallmarks of the iconic design .

Design and Craftsmanship

The watch’s silver-toned “Grande Tapisserie” dial perfectly harmonizes with the refined proportions of the updated Royal Oak case. It includes three sub-dials with silver-tone counters and applied white-gold hour markers and hands, all coated with luminescent material for nighttime clarity . The stainless steel bracelet, finished with alternating polished and brushed surfaces, seamlessly integrates with the case and closes with an AP folding clasp.

Powering this chronograph is Audemars Piguet’s in-house Calibre 4401, a self-winding automatic movement featuring a column-wheel flyback chronograph. Running at 28,800 vph with 40 jewels and offering approximately 70 hours of power reserve, it showcases advanced engineering and reliability.
