Chanel Bag Consignment Dubai - Sell Your Classic Flap, 19 or Kelly
Chanel bag consignment Dubai done as a single-category service, not a general resale desk. No upfront fee. You keep ownership until it sells.
We take Chanel bags — Classic Flap, 2.55 Reissue, Boy, 19, 25, Chanel Kelly, wallet on chain, vanity cases, Coco Handle and Deauville — authenticate each piece in house, agree a price with you, and release it to buyers who are already searching for that exact configuration. If you have used our consignment service for another category, the model is identical here; the expertise is Chanel-specific.
Most sellers arrive after searching "sell chanel bag Dubai" or "sell my chanel bag" and finding marketplaces, resale feeds and thin affiliate pages. This is the other option. It suits private sellers across the UAE: a Classic Flap bought in Dubai Mall and worn twice, a Chanel Kelly inherited and never carried, a dozen pieces from a rotating collection. There is no upfront fee, you keep ownership until the bag sells, and you are never negotiating against a single walk-in offer.
Chanel is one of the strongest resale categories in the world and one of the least flexible. Two flaps in the same condition can differ by a wide margin on size, leather and hardware. Model and colourway set the price; condition decides whether you land at the top or the bottom of that band. That order is the basis of every valuation we quote.
Key takeaways

- 03No upfront fee. No photography, listing or storage charge. You keep ownership until it sells.
- 04Model, size, leather, hardware and colourway move a Chanel price further than condition alone.
- 05Bags are listed to an international buyer network, with shipping and payout handled for you.
Eligibility
What We Accept — Chanel Models We Consign
Core models. Classic Flap in small, medium, jumbo and maxi; 2.55 Reissue; Boy; 19; 25; the Chanel Kelly; the Chanel wallet on chain, or WOC; vanity cases; Coco Handle; Deauville; Gabrielle; and the seasonal shapes that hold a defined buyer.
Exotics and limited editions. Crocodile, alligator and lizard pieces, plus numbered and runway limited editions. Priced to a narrow buyer pool and slower to place, but they sit above standard production in value.
Condition requirements. We accept only bags in brand new or like-new condition. Bags with visible wear, damage or that need repair are not accepted.
What you must declare. Everything. Any mark that remains, a missing authenticity card, a missing dust bag or box. We put it in the listing and price to it. A declared flaw is a pricing line; a concealed one is a returned sale.
What we decline. A bag whose hologram or microchip is unreadable and undatable by other means; altered or replaced hardware that cannot be verified; provenance we cannot establish; visible wear or damage of any kind.
Current stock sits in Chanel 25 bags and the wider Chanel women's selection; a recent single-owner example is the Chanel Mini Kelly in black, which shows the presentation standard we list to.

What Drives a Chanel Bag's Resale Value
Chanel bag resale Dubai is a configuration market before it is a condition market. Six factors, in the order that matters.
- 01
Model — Classic Flap vs 19 vs Boy vs Kelly
The largest single multiplier. Chanel Classic Flap resale leads every other model: it is the reference Chanel bag, recognised by buyers who are not collectors, and it is the piece that most reliably holds value — supported by the retail increases Chanel has applied since 2019 (Chanel Classic Flap price history). The 2.55 Reissue trades slightly behind it, on a more knowledgeable buyer base. The 19 and 25 sit mid-pack: current, desirable, not yet classics. The Boy is the caution — it underperformed its launch hype and typically prices below an equivalent Classic Flap. The Chanel Kelly and the WOC behave differently again: lower retail, consistently in demand, tightly priced secondhand.
- 02
Size — Mini and Small Carry the Premium
In 2026 the premium sits with small. Mini and small flaps clear above jumbo and maxi relative to retail, and they sell faster, because the buyer pool for a light cross-body Chanel is far wider than for a large carry-all. Jumbo and maxi are the value end for a buyer and the weaker exit for a seller: expect a jumbo to be discounted against a same-condition small.
- 03
Leather — Caviar vs Lambskin vs Calfskin vs Tweed
Caviar is the resale default — pebbled, water-tolerant, and the leather that handles Gulf humidity and air-conditioning cycles best. Lambskin is softer and more luxurious, and buyers price the scratches accordingly: a marked lambskin bag loses more than a marked caviar one. Calfskin, including the 19's mixed-finish leather, sits between them. Tweed and fabric are niche — high asking price, narrow buyer, slower sale.
- 04
Hardware and Colour — Gold, Silver and the Seasonal Gamble
Black is the safe colour in any leather and the fastest to sell; beige and white follow for the region's wardrobe. Seasonal shades split: a desirable one beats black to a specific buyer, a poor one sits for months. Gold-tone hardware remains the strongest resale combination on a Classic Flap, silver-tone close behind. And the Chanel bag price Dubai boutiques quote today sits far above 2019 levels, which has pulled the secondhand floor up with it.
- 05
Series and Hologram or Microchip — What the Number Tells a Buyer
The serial tells a buyer the production era, and era changes construction. Stickers ran to seven digits from 1986 to 2005 and eight digits until 2022, with a hologram added in the 2000s; since 2021 Chanel has replaced stickers and authenticity cards with metal plates carrying a randomised eight-character alphanumeric code (FASHIONPHILE). Series still moves value — earlier production is judged on different stitching and hardware — but the chip transition means a recent bag with no card is normal, not suspicious. It also means the retail tag with its QR code is now the only way to confirm a specific season. Keep it.
- 06
Condition and Completeness — Corners, Quilting, Chain, Box
Condition is read where wear first shows: corners, quilting, chain, the CC turnlock, the interior. Completeness adds to it. Dust bag, box, authenticity card, camellia, ribbon and the original retail tag each help the price; a full set with the receipt is the strongest presentation. Missing inclusions lower the number rather than rule the bag out.

How We Authenticate Every Chanel Bag
Authentication happens in person, in our hands, before valuation is discussed, and it is never subcontracted. A bag that fails is not listed at a discount.
The process runs through, in order:
- 01Hologram or metal plateThe hologram sticker, or on post-2021 pieces the metal plate and its eight-character code.
- 02Serial numberIts consistency with the model, hardware and production era, since a serial that contradicts a bag's construction is the most common failure.
- 03Quilting and stitchingQuilting alignment and stitch regularity across flap, sides and interior, where uneven tension, skipped stitches or a wandering line matter more than any single stitch count (Retyche).
- 04CC turnlockThe right C closing over the left at the top, the left over the right at the bottom — plus engraving, weight and finish against the model.
- 05Interior labelIts font, spacing and stamping.
- 06Leather and constructionThe leather grain, edge finishing and interior construction.
No single feature settles authenticity. The marks have to agree with each other and with the bag's era, which is why this is done physically rather than from photographs. Our current pre-owned selection shows the standard we list to.
The process
How Our Chanel Consignment Service Works
To consign a Chanel bag with us, there are five steps.
- 01SubmissionStart your consignment on our consignment platform and send photographs — front, back, base, interior, hologram or chip, CC turnlock, hardware engraving — plus model, size, leather, hardware and any paperwork. Dubai and Abu Dhabi sellers can bring the bag in person.
- 02Authentication and valuationThe bag is authenticated as above, then condition-mapped: corners, quilting, chain, hardware, interior. Valuation is set against current comparable sales for that exact configuration, not a formula.
- 03Pricing agreementYou receive a price band and confirm the minimum you will accept. Buyers negotiate with us, not with you.
- 04Listing to the buyer networkWe photograph what Chanel buyers ask for — quilting depth, chain, turnlock, stamping, inclusions — publish the condition report, and offer the bag privately to collectors, dealers and international buyers in parallel.
- 05Sale and payoutBuyer funds are received and cleared. The sale then opens a 7-day return window, counted from the sale date in Dubai. Once it ends, the commission is deducted and the balance is paid in your chosen currency. We handle shipping and export paperwork.
Fees
Our Commission Structure
Commission is tiered by final sale value. The rate that applies is the one that matches the final sale price, applied to the whole price rather than in slices. Rates are agreed in writing before your bag is listed.
| Final sale value | Commission |
|---|---|
| Under AED 10,000 | 25% |
| AED 10,000 to under AED 50,000 | 18% |
| AED 50,000 and above | 15% |
What you receive is the final sale price minus the commission. Three examples:
| Sale price | Rate | Commission | You receive |
|---|---|---|---|
| AED 8,000 | 25% | AED 2,000 | AED 6,000 |
| AED 20,000 | 18% | AED 3,600 | AED 16,400 |
| AED 60,000 | 15% | AED 9,000 | AED 51,000 |
- There is no upfront fee, and no photography, listing, storage or relisting charge.
- The commission is the only amount deducted from the final sale price.
- Commission covers in-house authentication, professional photography, the condition report, listing and buyer outreach, insured storage, negotiation on your behalf and shipping coordination.
- If the bag does not sell, you owe nothing and it is returned to you.
Comparison
Why Consign Instead of Selling Direct
| Route | What you receive | Effort |
|---|---|---|
| Consignment with us | Market price less commission — the highest net return on a Chanel bag | Submission and approval only |
| Direct buyout | An immediate cash figure set by the buyer, their margin already deducted | Minimal |
| Selling yourself on a marketplace | Your full asking price, if it sells | Photography, pricing, messages, shipping, fraud risk |
Chanel consignment is pricing plus access: the right configuration in front of the right buyers. The gap between a fast local offer and a properly marketed sale is wide here, because price depends on leather, hardware, size and series — and on reaching a buyer who wants exactly that. If you consign designer bags across brands, the wider luxury consignment in Dubai service covers Hermès and watches on identical terms. If speed matters more than net return, a buyout pays sooner and less. There is no wrong answer, only a different trade.
Timing
Payouts and Timelines
Core configurations — black caviar Classic Flap, Chanel Kelly, WOC — are the quickest to place. Seasonal colours, exotic skins and limited editions take longer and are priced for that patience.
Payouts are made in AED, EUR, USD or HKD, once the 7-day return window that follows the sale has ended. If several of your bags have sold, the payouts due to you are grouped. International sales are shipped by us, with export documentation and any species permits handled as part of the service.

Yes. Post-2021 bags have no card at all — the metal plate and microchip replaced it — and older bags are routinely authenticated without one. A missing card affects the price, not eligibility, and we declare the omission in the listing.
Core configurations move first; seasonal colours and limited editions take longer. You can lower your minimum if you want the bag to move faster.
No. We accept only Chanel bags in brand new or like-new condition. Bags with visible wear, damage or that need repair are not accepted. Any mark that remains on an accepted bag is declared in the listing.
Yes. You confirm the lowest figure you will accept before listing, and we will not sell below it. Buyers negotiate with us, not with you.
