The process

How Consignment Works

Five steps. Nothing is listed, discounted or altered without your agreement.

  1. 01SubmissionStart your consignment on our consignment platform and send photographs, model details and any paperwork. For higher-value pieces we arrange a physical inspection in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
  2. 02Authentication and valuationEvery item is authenticated in house before listing and valued against current comparable sales, not a formula. For leather goods that means blind stamp, saddle stitching, hardware, leather grain and date code; for watches, the movement and case, serial numbers, dial, bracelet and service history. The check differs by category; the standard does not.
  3. 03Pricing agreementWe propose a price band and confirm the minimum you will accept. Buyers negotiate with us, not with you.
  4. 04Listing to the buyer networkPhotography, condition report and specification are published and the piece is offered privately to collectors, dealers and international buyers in parallel.
  5. 05Sale and payoutBuyer funds are received and cleared. The sale then opens a 7-day return window, counted from the sale date in Dubai. Once it ends, the commission is deducted and the balance is paid in your chosen currency.

Our Commission Structure

Commission is tiered by final sale value, so the rate on a high-value piece is not the rate on an entry piece. The rate that applies is the one that matches the final sale price, applied to the whole price rather than in slices. Every figure below is agreed in writing before listing.

Authentication Across Categories

Authentication is why consignment works: a verified item sells at a verified price. The method changes with the object.

Leather goods

Leather goods — Hermès and Chanel included — are checked on the blind stamp, saddle stitching, hardware, leather grain and date code, plus the internal construction details counterfeits rarely reproduce consistently. No single feature settles authenticity: the marks have to agree with each other and with the model's production era, so the whole piece is examined rather than one detail (HAUTANE).

Watches

Watches are verified on the movement and case, serial and reference numbers, dial, bracelet and service history. A serial number alone proves nothing — counterfeiters engrave genuine numbers — so the caseback is opened and the movement inspected for consistency with the reference and production period (Bob's Watches).

Coverage

Serving Sellers Across the UAE and Internationally

Sellers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi can hand over in person or use insured collection. The rest of the UAE — Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain — is served by courier. International sellers ship to us, and we manage the sale from here.

Payouts are made in AED, EUR, USD or HKD, once the 7-day return window that follows a sale has ended. If several of your pieces have sold, the payouts due to you are grouped.

Cross-border sales of exotic leathers require a CITES certificate for the species involved. In the UAE, the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment issues export and re-export permits, and Dubai Customs enforces the controls, so the certificate must be in place before shipping.
